Not All Magnesium is Created Equal

Many magnesium supplements (like Oxide) are poorly absorbed and act as laxatives. Magnesium Glycinate is magnesium bound to the amino acid Glycine.

Glycine itself is an inhibitory neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation and lowers body temperature, which is essential for sleep onset. Combined with magnesium’s role in regulating the body’s stress response (HPA axis) and muscle relaxation, this form is the gold standard for improving sleep quality and reducing evening anxiety.
