The Innate Repair Receptor (IRR)
Erythropoietin (EPO) is famous for building red blood cells, but it also repairs tissue. Ara-290 is a modified peptide that selectively activates the Innate Repair Receptor (IRR) to reduce inflammation and promote healing, without increasing red blood cell count (which can be dangerous).
This specificity makes Ara-290 a breakthrough for Small Fiber Neuropathy (SFN) and chronic pain. By calming overactive nerves and promoting nerve fiber regeneration, it addresses the root cause of neuropathic pain rather than just masking symptoms.
